Soak foxtail millet,idly rice for 4 hours
Soak urid dal for 4 hours
Grind both separately to fine batter and mix on a large bowl and add salt to it
Ferment this batter for atleast 7 hours
Using steamer with idly mould , pour the batter in the idly mould and steam it for 10 minutes.
For dosa, pour the batter in a flat tawa( dosa tawa) and flatten it by a ladle.
Pour oil/ghee on both sides of dosa n make it crispy
Enjoy the healthy idly and dosa with spicy tomato chutney and sambar
